A Cabbello

Hello! I’m Vinny, and I am thrilled to perform with A Cabbello! I grew up singing, playing music, and being a theater kid who also played tons of sports. In college I was in a 12-man a cappella group (and I was the music director for three of those years), and during my first 18 years of teaching math, I directed the high school’s a cappella group. However, I stopped performing at around age 25. Since then I’ve spent most of my free time in sports, playing and coaching soccer, basketball, volleyball, and softball and occasionally running 5K’s with LT for good causes. Fast forward a few decades, and after we became permanent desert residents, I joined Modern Men in 2024, just in time to sing with LT at GALA. Getting back to singing and performing has been a joy. I also enjoy karaoke nights, cooking, country-western dancing, and playing games. While not playing sports the way I used to, I am hoping to stay active with hiking, the gym, dance, and any fun, local activities.
Fun fact
I have traveled to every state in the country, and as of 2007 I had seen a baseball game in every major league ballpark! (Sadly, there are a few new ones I need to get to!)
