A Cabbello

Vinny grew up immersed in music and theater, performing in bands and choruses of all types and appearing regularly on stage. He developed a love of small-group singing in college, where he sang in and traveled with a 12-man a cappella group for four years, mostly as its music director. After college, he sang with the six-man Metrognomes for a few years, but life as a high school teacher and coach pulled him away from music, other than mentoring the school’s a cappella troupe. When Vinny and his husband LT moved to the valley permanently in 2023, Vinny had a chance to return to music and theater. He spent time as a karaoke KJ, joined Modern Men: Coachella Valley’s Men’s Chorus, has appeared in his husband’s cabaret series, and can soon be seen in Revolution Stage’s production of Urinetown: The Musical. Vinny is humbled and excited to be singing with this talented and sweet group of humans!
